Carolina Celas is a Lisbon based Illustrator. Originally from Portugal, she graduated in Design at Universidade de Aveiro followed by a post-grad in Illustration at Eina Barcelona. She began her career working in advertising, passing through Media Vaca publishing house and since then work as a freelance to different mediums. She finished an MA in Visual Communication at Royal College of Art in 2015. Her illustration explores the detail, humor, and surrealism, challenging conventional formats and subjects. She has participated in various national and international exhibitions. She is the author of the book Horizonte published originally by Orfeu Negro.
